Note: This field trip was sponsored by theĀ Alan Devoe Bird Club, a NYSYBC Partner. Many thanks to ADBC and especially to our trip leader, Bill Cook for his time and expertise in organizing and leading this trip.

The day started out chilly at 42 degrees! But it warmed up to 58 by lunchtime, and we enjoyed plentiful sunshine with no wind.

As you can see in the bird list below, we had a nice mix of bird sightings, reflecting the variety of habitats that Bill took us to.

Another rare sight for Scotia was crowds of people! When we got there, we found out the Spartan Sweeps Regatta was going on.

We had lunch at a 50s style diner just up the street from Collins Lake. Fun!
